The 2024 Forbes Korea '30 Under 30' entrepreneurs (▶Deep/Enterprise Tech ▶Social Impact ▶Consumer Tech) are selected through a comprehensive evaluation process. This includes examining startup data, revenue scale, patents, and recommendations from the venture capital industry, focusing on executive leaders under 30.

Inertia, a femtech startup co-founded by four female scientists from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), is committed to creating innovative products that enhance women’s health, convenience, and sustainability. The brand specializes in producing and selling women’s hygiene products, including sanitary pads and feminine cleansers.

Inertia’s proprietary LABOCELL™ is a 100% natural cellulose-based material free of additives. It replicates the properties of traditional microplastics, offering a sustainable alternative to over 2.3 million tons of microplastics produced annually.

The groundbreaking innovation of LABOCELL™ has garnered Inertia several accolades, including being named a Biopreferred Program Champion by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on its 20th anniversary, receiving the Green Startup Award from the President of the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute, and being selected for Tech4eva, a femtech accelerator program hosted by EPFL Innovation Park in Switzerland.

Leveraging LABOCELL™, Inertia launched "The Prism" sanitary pads, achieving remarkable success with over 3 million units sold in just one year. The product also earned the highest rating, EXCELLENT 5 stars, from Dermatest, Germany’s leading dermatological research institute.
